How to clean a Flight Cases

We have been asked many times over the years, what is the best way to clean flight cases? The answer to this is simple - WD40 and fine wire wool for the aluminium extrusions.

WD40 will not only clean any type of Custom Flight Case wall, such as Hexaboard, laminate and Astroboard, it is also good for cleaning the residue of sticky address labels and tour labels.

This was suggested to us by one of our regular customers who recently cleaned up a selection of 19 inch rack flight cases, road trunks, and screen and tv screen flight cases that were purchased from us to sell on Ebay.

Not only flight cases, but also poly cases can be transformed by the use of WD40, where as padded bags and flight case interiors should be cleaned with a damp rag and soapy water.
